Volleyball Recap: Curie Takes a Loss

Curie was the 2-1 winner over Mansueto when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Condors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards on Friday. The Condors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Mansueto scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18.

Curie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mansueto, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.

Curie will face off against Victoria Soto at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mansueto, they will take on Hubbard at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday.
