After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Clarkrange brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They came out on top against the Oakdale Eagles by a score of 12-8 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Buffaloes as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Mason McWhirter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
