Despite the loss, Petaluma still got an impressive performance from Brody Stevens, who rushed for 134 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Stevens' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 132 rushing yards. Aidan Wirtz was in the mix as well, providing Petaluma with two TDs.
Fortuna's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Petaluma, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-4.
Coming up, Fortuna will square off against St. Bernard's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders' defense has only allowed 9.5 points per game this season, so the Huskies' offense will have their work cut out for them. Petaluma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
