Volleyball Game Preview: Littleton Lions vs. St. Mary's Academy Wildcats + How To Watch

The Littleton Lions will take on the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Littleton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Poudre.

While Littleton was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy came up short against Peak to Peak on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-15, 16-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Despite the loss, St. Mary's Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Al Hernandez had 19 digs and three aces. Hernandez has been hot for a while, having posted two or more aces the last ten times she's played.

St. Mary's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Littleton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
