Baseball Recap: Palo Verde Takes a Loss

The Palo Verde Titans came up short against the Globe Tigers on Wednesday, falling 12-2. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palo Verde's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Globe, their win ended a 12-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palo Verde will venture away from home to square off against Tanque Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Globe, they will head out to challenge Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gophers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
