Baseball Recap: Parker-Tarrant Homeschool Drops Highest Score of Season Against Tournament Opponent

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Tournament Opponent an 18-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Warriors have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Elijah House was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. House was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Paul Stedifor, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Dougharty, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .706. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
