Yucaipa entered their tilt with Citrus Valley on Tuesday with 13 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 14. They enjoyed a cozy 55-41 win over the Citrus Valley Blackhawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-47 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Yucaipa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon Lerma, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Yucaipa smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Citrus Valley only pulled down five offensive boards.

Citrus Valley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Carmine Amaya, who went 6 of 11 en route to 21 points, and Aidan Todd, who posted 11 points. Todd is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

Yucaipa's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. As for Citrus Valley, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Yucaipa has already played their next game, a 56-47 win against Beaumont on the 23rd. As for Citrus Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 42-28 victory against Redlands on the 23rd.
