Baseball Recap: Marlington Victorious

Marlington came out on top against Fairless on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Dukes had just enough and edged out the Falcons 7-6.

The team relied heavily on Tyler Walder, who went 2-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Marlington hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairless struck out nine times.

Marlington now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Fairless, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marlington will challenge Norwayne at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairless, they will take on Manchester at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
