East Union waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Sierra Timberwolves with a sharp 11-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 29-1 on April 2nd.

Mikayla Simpson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Caliyah Lopez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Jacey Jauregui was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

East Union always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

East Union's record now sits at 15-12. As for Sierra, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

East Union wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-10 loss against Oakdale on the 1st. Sierra does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
