Softball Recap: Midland Trail Patriots vs. Meadow Bridge Wildcats

In what's become a running theme this season, Midland Trail gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. Everything went their way against the Meadow Bridge Wildcats as the Midland Trail Patriots made off with a 20-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Midland Trail needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

Raelyn Morris made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Morris was also big at the plate, going 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

In other batting news, Midland Trail got a massive performance out of Ava Campbell, who went 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and a stolen base. Aubrie Spencer was another key contributor, going 3-for-4 with four runs, a triple, and two RBI.

Midland Trail's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. As for Meadow Bridge, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
