Soccer Recap: Roncalli Comes Up Short

Roncalli managed to keep up with Cedar Grove-Belgium until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Jets came up short against the Rockets, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Roncalli of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Roncalli's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Looking ahead, Roncalli will head out to challenge New Holstein at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, they will challenge Richland Center at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Cedar Grove-Belgium are facing Richland Center at the right time seeing as Richland Center are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
