Volleyball Recap: Hiland's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Hiland came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

Hiland easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13.

Addi Mast paced Hiland's offense, picking up ten kills. Mast got some help from Brianna Mishler and her 17 assists. Mishler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hiland's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Western Reserve Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Hiland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against New Philadelphia on the 30th. As for Western Reserve Academy, they will challenge Ellet at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
