Basketball Recap: Eagle Ridge Christian Has No Trouble Against Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis

Eagle Ridge Christian had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 24-point drubbing they dealt Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis on Friday. The Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles blew past the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis Crusaders 41-17. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis still got an impressive performance from Zuri King, who posted three points in addition to 16 boards and three steals. King has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Jorja Webster also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Eagle Ridge Christian is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.2 points per game. As for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
