Sadly, Forestview is still looking for their first win of the season after 11 matchups. They fell 6-3 to the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets on Monday. Forestview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Bessemer City apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in June of 2021.

Frederick Dow was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also only allowed one walk). Dow has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Dow was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and an RBI.
