Football Recap: Arroyo Comes Up Short Despite Leslie Saldivar's Big Defensive Game

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Arroyo was not quite El Monte's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They lost 24-0 to the Lions.

Even if they lost, Arroyo's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. In that department, Leslie Saldivar was the leader with two.

Arroyo's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for El Monte, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-1.
