After a string of six wins, Johnstown-Monroe's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 59-39 to the Heath Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Johnnies have suffered against the Bulldogs since January 21, 2022.

Heath's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Kaminsky, who posted 16 points along with five boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Duston, who scored 15 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Johnstown-Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Heath, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnstown-Monroe will take on Licking Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Heath has already played their next match (against Granville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
