Baseball Recap: Talladega Takes a Loss

Talladega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 14-1 to the Anniston Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-1 last Tuesday.

Talladega's loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Anniston, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

Talladega does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Anniston, they will head out on the road to square off against Jacksonville Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
