Volleyball Recap: Van Horn Comes Up Short

Van Horn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Chrisman Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.

While Van Horn was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13.

Van Horn's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Chrisman, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-9-1.

Coming up, Van Horn will take on Ruskin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chrisman, they will challenge Belton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
