Recap: Havelock Rams vs. Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs
The Havelock Rams lost against the Northside - Jacksonville Monarchs back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Havelock fell 44-37 to Northside - Jacksonville.
Havelock's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adaija Cypress, who scored six points along with seven steals. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh George, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Havelock has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Northside - Jacksonville, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-13.
Havelock will take on J.H. Rose at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. J.H. Rose is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Northside - Jacksonville, they will head out on the road to challenge New Bern at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
