Baseball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

Windham extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping them down to 3-14. They came up short against the Massabesic Mustangs, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 13-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Windham saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Manning, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Massabesic, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for their hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

On Massabesic's side, Judd Rand was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Rand has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one run. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

As of now, neither Windham nor Massabesic have any future games scheduled.
