Softball Recap: Vincent Memorial Comes Up Short

Vincent Memorial came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Warner Wildcats, falling 17-7. The Scots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Vincent Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Warner, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Coincidentally, Vincent Memorial and Warner will both be playing Calipatria the next time they take the field. Warner will head out to face Calipatria at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Vincent Memorial will host them at 2:30 p.m. on April 16.
