Soccer Recap: Avon Plays Ranked Game

Avon faced Hudson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Eagles and the Explorers finished up their game with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Avon's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Sydney Thomas, who's now up to 14 this season.

Avon's draw makes their record 7-3-1 this season. Meanwhile, Hudson's record is now 8-0-1.

Looking ahead, Avon will host Steele at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hudson, they will head out to face off against Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
