Soccer Game Preview: Marcus vs. Braswell

The Marcus Marauders will head out to challenge the Braswell Bengals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Marcus is headed into the matchup having not lost since January 8 and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Hebron could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in January, Braswell was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. They played to a draw too, finishing 2-2 against Lewisville.

Micah Shittu and Trevor Hill scored both of Braswell's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Marcus' draw makes their record 12-2-2 this season. Meanwhile, Braswell's record is now 2-13-3.

Everything went Marcus' way against Braswell in their previous matchup back in January, as Marcus made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Marauders since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
