Downers Grove North can attribute much of their success to Hope Sebek, who scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Parker, who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Lincoln-Way Central's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Providence Catholic's loss dropped theirs to 3-1.
Providence Catholic came up short against Downers Grove North in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 48-40.
