            Cincinnati College Prep Academy easily dispatched Dunbar last Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Lions fell just short of the Cincinnati Country Day Nighthawks by a score of  24-22 on Friday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nighthawks apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 Cincinnati Country Day found their leader in sophomore  Thomas Huckleby, who picked up 164 receiving yards and a pair of  scores, and also rushed for 47 yards and one  TD. Huckleby showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 55 yards. Another player making a difference was  Levi Guttman, who threw for 248 yards and two  touchdowns on only 17 passes.
Cincinnati College Prep Academy's loss  ended  a  five-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 2-2. As for Cincinnati Country Day, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
 Cincinnati College Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  an  18-0  win against Meadowdale on the 19th. As for Cincinnati Country Day, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  35-8  victory against Clermont Northeastern on the 19th.
