Volleyball Recap: Travelers Rest Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Travelers Rest can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wren Hurricanes on Wednesday. The Devildogs have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-7, 24-26, 25-21, 25-19.

Travelers Rest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-18-1. As for Wren, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6-1 record this season.

Travelers Rest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wren, they will take on Greer on Monday.
