Christian Heritage Academy escaped with a win on Thursday against Timberlake Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 45-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Luke Mason was his usual excellent self, going 11 for 16 on his way to 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Christian Heritage Academy's points. Hunter Manning was another key player, putting up 11 points and seven boards.

Christian Heritage Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Dayspring Christian Academy played a tough contest last Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Roanoke Valley Christian, falling 42-21. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dayspring Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Christian Heritage Academy, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5.

Christian Heritage Academy came up short against Dayspring Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in January, falling 56-49. Can Christian Heritage Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
