Volleyball Game Preview: Chaminade Eagles vs. St. Francis Golden Knights

Chaminade is 0-5 against St. Francis since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. Chaminade will square off against St. Francis at 6:00 p.m.

Chaminade came up short against Notre Dame (SO) on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, St. Francis entered their tilt with La Sierra on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Francis took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-8.

St. Francis' victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. As for Chaminade, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Chaminade might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from St. Francis when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Chaminade avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
