Baseball Recap: Muldrow Takes a Loss

Muldrow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Siloam Springs Panthers, falling 12-3.

Muldrow saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jace Prewett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Prewett also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season. Another was Brody Israel, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Muldrow's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Siloam Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muldrow is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against Hilldale at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Siloam Springs, they will take on Greenland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
