Basketball Recap: Archbishop Bergan Takes a Loss

Archbishop Bergan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Concordia Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Mustangs are ranked seventh).

Archbishop Bergan's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Concordia, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

While Archbishop Bergan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
