Volleyball Recap: Jurupa Hills Takes a Loss

Jurupa Hills's tournament run continued when they took on Palm Springs on Saturday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Indians.

Jurupa Hills was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17.

Whitney Smith paced Jurupa Hills' offense, picking up five kills. Smith got some help from Sariah Jordan and her nine assists.

Jurupa Hills now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Palm Springs, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Jurupa Hills will welcome Arroyo Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palm Springs, they will take on Apple Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
