Baseball Recap: Hubbertville Falls Short of Lynn in the Playoffs

Hubbertville and Lynn squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Hubbertville had to settle for second. They fell 7-4 to the Bears. Unfortunately, that's the sixth time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-2 defeat on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Hubbertville and nudges their season record down to 19-11. As for Lynn, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-10.

Hubbertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lynn, they will take on Addison on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Bears' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
