SCISA AA Region II recap November 5, 2013

Adding to the longest winning streak in SCISA AA Region II this week, Hilton Head Christian Academy beat Hilton Head Prep 35-28. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Eagles.

Northwood Academy took down Bible Baptist 55-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Will Lloyd threw for 136 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 56 yards in the win.

Joseph Sweatt was a key player and the best on defense this week as Palmetto Christian Academy beat Heyward Academy. He grabbed 2 sacks.

J.T. Waters was a beast in the backfield as Palmetto Christian Academy defeated the Rebels.

Waters was a passing and rushing force as Jim Daniel's team bested Heyward Academy. He completed 8 passes for 113 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 462 yards. Waters' key target this week was Will Tuchfarber, who caught 5 passes for 81 yards.

Tuchfarber was the best receiver in the league this week as Palmetto Christian Academy beat Nic Shuford's team. Tuchfarber tallied 5 receptions for 81 yards. Chase Shimakonis helped Palmetto Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 20 yards.

Palmetto Christian Academy made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,711 from 7,448. The improvement was largely due to a 64-34 victory over the Rebels last week.
