Volleyball Game Preview: Greenhills Gryphons vs. Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Greenhills Gryphons and the Cranbrook Kingswood Cranes will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greenhills will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Greenhills is returning to their home court after beating Everest Collegiate on theirs, despite the fact Everest Collegiate has dominated at home this season. The Gryphons walked away with a 3-1 win over Everest Collegiate on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Gryphons have beaten Everest Collegiate on their court since September 23, 2020.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Cranbrook Kingswood's good fortune finally ran out two weeks ago. They lost 3-0 to Lutheran North. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cranes have suffered since September 17th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-8, 25-16.

Greenhills' victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12-4.

Greenhills came out on top in a nail-biter against Cranbrook Kingswood in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Do the Gryphons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cranes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
