Baseball Recap: Kenwood Bluebirds vs. Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines
Kenwood had lost four straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 6-9 to make it five. They lost 13-2 to the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines. The Bluebirds were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolverines earlier this season, when they won 3-2.
Kenwood saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Boblitz, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Chase Alleyne also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
