Softball Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Bloomington's offense. They came up short against the Lincoln Railsplitters on Thursday, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that the Purple Raiders have lost by exactly ten runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Bloomington and nudges their season record down to 4-15. As for Lincoln, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloomington will head out to take on Danville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln, they will venture away from home to face off against Limestone at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
