Basketball Game Preview: McDade Bulldogs vs. Granger Lions

The McDade Bulldogs will face off against the Granger Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McDade has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with 13 straight losses, while Granger will come in with four straight wins.

Last Friday, McDade was beaten by Thorndale 82-31. While losing is never fun, McDade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1656th, while Thorndale is ranked 632nd).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Granger faced off against Rosebud-Lott on Friday. Granger simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rosebud-Lott 56-28. With the Lions ahead 34-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.

McDade's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Granger, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

McDade suffered a grim 53-27 defeat to Granger in their previous matchup on January 3rd. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point McDade was down 29-8.
