While Premont's win against Ben Bolt wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cowboys sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Badgers on Friday. The Cowboys haven't had any issues with the Badgers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Premont took Ben Bolt into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 23-25, 20-25, 15-9.

Ben Bolt lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Laila Estrada, who had nine kills and five digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Perez, who had five kills and four digs.

Premont's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ben Bolt, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Premont will challenge rival La Villa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ben Bolt is set to face off against their familiar foe Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
