Football Recap: Forney Jackrabbits vs. Rockwall-Heath Hawks
After losing to Rockwall-Heath the last time they met, Forney decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Forney Jackrabbits came out on top against the Rockwall-Heath Hawks by a score of 56-46 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jackrabbits.
Forney was led to victory by Javian Osborne and Nelson Peterson Jr. Osborne rushed for 214 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry, while Peterson Jr rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Those 214 rushing yards gave Osborne a new career-high. DJ Page was another key player, picking up 152 receiving yards and a touchdown.
