Basketball Recap: Wayne Academy Takes a Loss

If Wayne Academy was riding high fresh off their 62-36 takedown of East Rankin Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wayne Academy Jaguars took a blow against the Leake Academy Rebels on Thursday, falling 60-33. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Rebels: they've now lost six in a row.

Wayne Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Leake Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
