Soccer Recap: Mt. Vernon-Enola Comes Up Short

If Mt. Vernon-Enola was feeling good fresh off their 6-3 takedown of Malvern last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mt. Vernon-Enola fell just short of the Cabot Panthers by a score of 6-5 on Saturday.

Mt. Vernon-Enola now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Cabot, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Vernon-Enola will venture away from home to face off against Lakeside at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cabot, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Conway at 7:00 p.m. on April 1.
