St. Joseph extended their winning streak to 14 on Thursday, bumping them up to 18-7. Everything went their way against the Martin Luther Spartans as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

Anabelle Cerny paced St. Joseph's offense, picking up 14 kills. Cerny got some help from Lauren Garcia and her 15 assists. Cerny was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

As for Martin Luther, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since September 16th.

Despite the loss, Martin Luther still got an impressive performance from Gabriella Salzer, who had 16 digs.

St. Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Dominican on the 2nd. As for Martin Luther, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Brookfield Academy on the 2nd.
