Walla Walla Valley Academy came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Touchet, but Aylen Garnett wouldn't allow it. The Redhawks enjoyed a cozy 68-53 victory over the Knights on Wednesday thanks in part to Garnett, who almost dropped a double-double with 48 points and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Touchet's points.

Despite the loss, Walla Walla Valley Academy still got an impressive performance from Hamilton Craik, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. That was a full 37.7% of the Knights' points, marking the third time in a row Craik has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Craik, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Touchet's record now sits at 5-2. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Touchet will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Waitsburg at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2026. As for Walla Walla Valley Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Liberty Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
