Volleyball Recap: Yreka Triumphs

Yreka won the last time they faced Central Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Miners walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons.

While Yreka won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-17.

The win got Yreka back to even at 2-2. As for Central Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Yreka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Del Norte on the 23rd. As for Central Valley, they will take on Shasta at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
