Chilhowie is 9-1 against Holston since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Chilhowie was handed a three-set defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Rural Retreat 3-2.

Meanwhile, Holston hadn't done well against Northwood recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cavaliers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Panthers, sneaking past 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cavaliers as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Chilhowie's victory bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Holston, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-5.

Chilhowie took their victory against Holston in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavaliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
