Basketball Recap: Pelican Rapids' Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Pelican Rapids won the last time they faced Hawley and things went their way on Friday too. The Pelican Rapids Vikings came out on top against the Hawley Nuggets by a score of 62-52. The victory was just business as usual for the Vikings, who after four games remain undefeated this season.

Pelican Rapids' win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Hawley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pelican Rapids will head out to challenge Park Rapids at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pelican Rapids knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Park Rapids likes a good challenge. As for Hawley, they are taking a road trip to square off against Frazee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
