The Hawks (15-1, 11-0) are red-hot, having won 12 straight games, the longest such streak in the league. Two of those wins came in the past week, includingan 8-4 win over Willamina.
Sheridan's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 29 hits and 18 walks to lead the league in both categories. The Spartans have given up a mere 115 hits on the year in addition to compiling 50 strikeouts.
