Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Everything went their way against the Mount Vernon Majors as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Colonials haven't had any issues with the Majors recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology never let Mount Vernon on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-22.

Andrew Du paced Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology's offense, picking up six kills. Du got some help from Nick Boukens and his 18 assists. Ronald Ganzorig controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Robinson on the 27th. As for Mount Vernon, they will welcome Woodson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
