Baseball Recap: Suttons Bay Takes a Loss

Suttons Bay lost against Mesick back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Norsemen fell 7-2 to the Bulldogs.

Suttons Bay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Oskaboose, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That hit was Oskaboose's first of the season.

Suttons Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Mesick, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.

Coming up, Suttons Bay will be playing at home against Onekama at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mesick, they will venture away from home to challenge Brethren at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.5 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
