Basketball Recap: Camden Academy Charter Comes Up Short

Camden Academy Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the King's Christian Knights, falling 61-26. The matchup marked Camden Academy Charter's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

King's Christian found their leader in sophomore Cam Homer, who posted 22 points. That's the most points Homer has posted since back in December of 2024. Owen Atkins was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Camden Academy Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for King's Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Camden Academy Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem County Vo-Tech on Friday. As for King's Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
